Bassoon Lessons

If you are feeling stuck in your bassoon playing, it might be time to consider some extra help in guiding you to the next level. Whether you are somewhere close by, or need more flexibility through online bassoon lessons, I am more than capable of helping you improve your bassoon playing.

Bassoon Lessons

My name is Gina Moore, and I have been instructing bassoon players for over 10 years. I hold a bachelors in Music education, as well as a master’s in Bassoon performance. Through my years of experience, I’ve built hundreds of techniques to help build my own playing that I can pass along to you.

Why Should I Take Bassoon Lessons at Moore Bassoon Studio?

Every one of my students gets a personalized lesson plan, as well as coaching to learn to improve your practicing. On top of that, I work with modern music to make sure we are learning to play through a mean that resonates with the student. Finally, I utilize an online music platform to make sure it is always clear what my students need to work on, as well as giving us the ability to reflect on the practice that has occurred this week. By utilizing these methods, we can make sure we are always improving at the bassoon, whether we continue lessons with me or not.

Music lessons are known to help in many can key areas, more so, my first lesson is free. This is to help insure we are a good fit, or that the student is even interested in bassoon instruction.

What To Expect In Your First Lesson

After you send in a form, we will work to find a good time for both of us to begin your bassoon lessons. Your first trial lesson will be focused on determining a few things:

– What do you want to get out of bassoon lessons

– How are you currently playing, and are there any easy wins we can help work through

– What style of instruction do you best respond to or any specific style of music you’d like help with

After our first lesson is complete, we will chat through what I see as opportunities for you, as well as lay out the next few weeks of lessons would look like. From there, it is up to you if you’d like to continue and we go from there!

How Much Are Bassoon Lessons?

Bassoon Lessons can cost two different amounts with me, and it just depends on if you’d like to pay ahead of lessons or after we’ve completed them. If you purchase a month’s worth of lessons, each 30 minute lesson will be $30. These will still be good in the case one of us needs to cancel, but because I am paid up front, I can pass savings back to you.

In the case that you’d like to go lesson by lesson or its easier for you to pay at the end of the month, each lesson will be $35. You will receive no difference in instruction or attention from me whether you pay up-front or post-lesson.

When it comes time for payment, I send an email with a link to pay me. You can pay via credit card or bank transfer directly through the link.
