Online or Virtual Bassoon Lessons

Online or Virtual Bassoon Lessons

Why You Should Take Online or Virtual Bassoon Lessons With Me

Hi there! My name is Gina Moore, and I’m a bassoon instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching students of all levels. With a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance, I’m passionate about helping others learn to play the bassoon and develop a lifelong love of music.

Online bassoon lessons are a great alternative to your in-person lessons as they give you a much larger range of teachers to choose from, as well as being very convenient by cutting out local travel. In general, private lessons are a great way to speed up learning your instrument, and can help in key areas, so why not make it convenient?

As with any music teacher, our first virtual bassoon lesson is considered a trial lesson and is always free. This is for us to see if we jive, as well as figure out where we are starting off. As I always customize the lessons to the student’s needs, our first lesson will give me a starting point to begin building your lesson plan.

How Much Do Online Bassoon Lessons Cost?

Online bassoon lessons are the same price as in-person bassoon lessons as you are receiving the exact same level of education. While this will be done virtually through zoom, you still receive a customized lesson plan, my undivided attention, and reserved time to insure you are improving.

Online Bassoon Lesson

$35 / Lesson

Online bassoon lessons are scheduled at the same time every week, and billed for at the end of the month. Each lesson is scheduled for the same time every week, but there is flexibility in the case we need to temporarily adjust.

You are responsible for having a working computer, speaker and microphone.

Online Bassoon Lesson Package

$30 / Lesson

An online bassoon lesson package allows you to pre-purchase 1 month of lessons. The main difference is you pay before the number of lessons begin. This allows me to ensure I get paid which passes the savings on to you!

What To Expect In Your First Online Lesson

Once you complete the form below, I will be in touch to find a time that works for both of us. From there, I will send a Zoom link and we will get to meet and start talking bassoon! Because this is the first lesson, your Zoom bassoon lesson will be completely free. What I’m looking for is:

 – Where are you at playing-wise?

 – What instrument do you use?

 – Are there any quick improvements we can make today?

 – How do you best respond to different teaching styles?

By focusing on the above, I am able to get an understanding of where we can go through lessons, and will give you a taste of my teaching style. The lessons are no-risk and you are welcome to not continue if you didn’t feel it was worth the time or that there wasn’t a good teacher-student match.
